August Update from Camp

It just keeps on getting better at the Ranch with three new lion cubs sighted this month. Our guests were fortunate enough to witness these playful and inquisitive cubs, as well as have the unique privilege to name them. Therefore we are proud to announce the arrival of Enzo, Babi and Nala to the Conservancy. We shall determine the sex of the cubs in the weeks ahead and let you know.

Three 19-month old lions currently on the Conservancy have progressed out of their childhood and are today practicing their hunting skills at the dam most afternoons. Unfortunately, Duffus the male lion has been ruining the hunts; much to the entertainment of our clients and to the disappointment of his two sisters.

A Horse Riders Delight at Manyara Ranch Conservancy

Horse riders are loving Manyara Ranch Conservancy  as we bring them the perfect location for a gallop among Africa’s finest wildlife. With 35,000 acres of exclusive wilderness to explore at leisure, its definitely a horse riders playground. Here at the Conservancy we have horses and crew permanently located at camp to cater for bookings at short notice. Our thoroughbreds are imported from Kenya and  have been trained over the last year in the bush environment.

What our fabulous guests are saying about us

Here are some of our guests latest feedback.

After visiting several properties in the northern Tanzania, this place is just awesome, the game drive of close viewing of the elephants was mind blowing – nothing I have seen before. The tents were great and compliments to the chef for a great dinner. Staff were very hospitable and friendly. A definite return with my family! – Damon Cavello , June 2011

Super place! Very calm and enjoyable. Great combination of things that you can’t do in a National Park, which is wonderful. Neil B – 27th February 2011

Perfect is the only way to describe the Conservancy, the staff and Chris. Chris’s passion for wildlife played out in everything he creates. This was a true ‘Out of Africa’ experience. I will highly recommend this place to all who are interested in a safari and the purpose of the community. Thank you for everything. – Mick and Kelly.
